Join us, along with hundreds of local residents, at Riverside Park in Vero Beach, on March 17th, 2012 for Care Net's annual Walk for Life! Walk a five mile route over the Vero Beach bridges or a one mile route "Under the Oaks," with registration beginning at 9:00 AM. Walk for Life is a community wide gathering in support of the important work that Care Net provides to women and families throughout Indian River County.
In addition to the five mile walk, Christian FM will be on location! Food and other forms of entertainment will add to the festivities at the park.
The walk is open to the entire community for participation. Walkers raise money by asking their friends and associates to sponsor them. In past years, as much as $40,000 has been raised by walkers and their sponsors. All of the funds raised will go towards the operations of Care Net Pregnancy Center as they provide services and support for women and families faced with a crisis pregnancy.
