Hooked
What is Hooked?
This study will help you discover that "hooking up” is the easy part, but “unhooking” from the bonds of a sexual relationship can have serious consequences. Take a practical look into new scientific research showing how sexual activity causes the release of brain chemicals which then result in emotional bonding and a powerful desire to repeat the activity. Don't miss out, this could be the best news you ever heard!

Illusions
What is Illusions?
Illusions is an eye-opening presentation for teens that dramatically exposes the harmful effects of pornography. Through appropriate, guided interactions, students come to realize that just beneath its seductive surface, pornography is a dangerous underground world of deception, addiction and devastation.
Through this presentation students will learn how porn warps the brain’s perception of sex, love and intimacy. Then armed with this knowledge, our teens can become better prepared to resist its allure, embrace their purity and pursue healthy relationships.

Aspire and Excel
Care Net Abstinence Educators is pleased to introduce the abstinence education
curriculums we are utilizing: Aspire and Excel. Both of these workbooks may be used in one-on-one peer-counseling sessions at Care Net, or in group sessions.
Aspire: As the name implies, Aspire is an upbeat, forward looking, positive presentation of the benefits of abstinence and marriage, designed specifically for public school students. Abstinence and Marriage Education Resources have spent the past two years developing this program to specifically meet the needs of the Title V and CBAE abstinence education programs.
The central them of Aspire is the clear message that abstinence before marriage is one of the best ways to prepare for a healthy, stable future marriage. Aspire includes the very latest facts and figures from the Centers for Disease Control, and the National Center for Health Statistics, and is regularly updated as new data becomes available. Aspire is an interactive workbook which includes eight chapters that build upon one another in an effort to guide students in making wise and healthy decisions in their lives.
Excel: Excel is very similar to Aspire, however, it is designed with a biblical foundation. It includes scriptures in every chapter, giving a scriptural foundation for every topic discussed. It follows the story of Joseph in Genesis and weaves it into every chapter as well. Excel is perfect to be utilized for youth groups and church events. This is also the curriculum we use at Care Net for one-on-one peer-counseling.
For more information about these curriculums, please visit the Abstinence and Marriage Education Resources website.

We're also committed to making a lasting impact on those around us. Our monthly meetings include activities and discussions that will help us grow stronger as a group and as individuals. You will also have the opportunity to help with presentations at events, schools, and other local organizations that help spread our values to the community we live in and beyond. We believe in the ripple effect! By choosing to live a life of love and significance NOW, you're making sure your future will be the best it can be.
